Meet the Team

Jen is originally from Nebraska and has been a registered dental hygienist for over eighteen years. After graduating from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln with her Bachelor of Arts degree and receiving her Associate’s degree in dental hygiene, she decided to move to Denver. She is thrilled to be part of such an amazing team here at Dakota Ridge Dental. She looks forward to making appointments comfortable and stress-free and ultimately providing exceptional care and service to all her patients.

Jen enjoys skiing, running, yoga, reading, and anything involving music and dance. She loves to travel as well as spend quality time with friends and family.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from the University of Colorado and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 18 years. Her patient care skills and experience include providing dental hygiene care and education within general dentistry and periodontal (gum, implant, and surgical) specialty offices. She recently completed her certification in the field of orofacial myology, which includes helping child and adult patients with everything from airway, snoring and sleep apnea issues to stroke recovery. She’s excited to be an important contributor to the amazing team and patients here at Dakota Ridge Dental!

Originally from the small town of Ririe, Idaho, Karen moved to Colorado to pursue her education at the University of Colorado and has been here ever since. Outside of work, you can find Karen enjoying time in the mountains with family and friends hiking, skiing, biking and snowshoeing, as well as in town attending the theater or curled up at home with a good book and her English Bulldog, Maggie. Be sure to ask Karen about Maggie’s skateboarding and sledding skills!

Mariah is originally from Salina, Kansas. In 2013, she graduated from Salina Technical College for dental assisting. She received her expanded duties dental assisting certificate in 2014. After moving to Colorado in 2015 she soon joined the Dakota Ridge Dental team. Mariah enjoys interacting with patients and making a difference with their smiles. She is inspired when patients leave our office knowing they’ve had an amazing experience.

Mariah is proud to be the mom of two little ones, her son Declan and daughter Isabella. Outside of work she enjoys doing arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her children and friends, especially in the outdoors. Mariah also describes herself as a true foodie and loves trying new dishes.

Marie has been a dental assistant for 22 yrs. She graduated top of her class from Concorde Career Institute in 1999. Since the start of her career, she has earned her EDDA certification from University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2006.

Marie loves her rewarding career in dentistry because her own smile was transformed 23 years ago and loved how it made her feel with her self-confidence and her overall well-being so she wanted to be a part of helping patients feel better about themselves one smile at a time!

When Marie is not working on people’s smiles, she loves spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren, loves doing activities outdoors such as camping and going on new adventures with her grand kiddos! She also loves to crochet blankets for charity organizations of kids in need.
